Old Reef Devil... Need new pump...which one

Hi

I've an old style ETSS reef devil. Square base... not the fancy looking round one I see for sale now. I set it up with the recommended RIO (sigh)... can't remember which it is. Anyway, I don't like rios in my tank and this one is a pita when I have to shut it down; it hates to start again.

I was wondering what the best bet for a replacement pump would be to get the most out of my ETSS Reef Devil and not be tooo hot.... I can't really go external as I'm out of space outside the sump.

I did email superskimmer.com but they didn't reply so you are my only hope

mag5 or 7 what ever RIO equals either of those. IIRC 21 bio balls

I've never counted the bio balls.

Is the Mag any cooler running than the rio do we know?
