Thinking about rearranging my tank, right not the rocks are just laid out flat, not stacked. I was thinking about making a lagoon landscape with the center open. Should I remove my livestock before doing this or just be VERY careful in moving the rocks.

PS. It always looks like I have little particles flowing through my water, does this just come with the LR bc that's the source, something keeps spitting it out from one of the rocks. Will a skimmer remove this bc its not at the surface and it's not affecting my water parameter readings. What should I do?

If it's a major rearranging and you don't have much spare room in the tank, it is advisable to remove your livestock into an circulated, heated container of water. No matter how careful we are, a coral or two will get crushed. Sometimes this doesn't do much harm, and other times the colony gets infected and dies.

Particulates in the water could be many things, including byproducts of life on your live rock. I wouldn't worry about it. Skimmers and mechanical filtration will help remove it, but you might be removing stuff that you want in the tank (food for suspension feeders).
