turbo calcium and baking soda

i know turbo calcium is calcium chloride. can i use baking soda to balance out the ions? is there an equation on how much to add?

Do you mean to mix them together?

Do a search; I think people have used baking soda as a buffer in lieu of purchasing the commercial buffers from lfs, but I don't think mixing with calcium chloride will achieve what you want

yes you can, however do NOT mix them together, you'll get a really large goopy white mess

I do use baking soda.. but like SFS said.. dont mix them together haha. There is a sponsor here that sells the magflake stuff in bulk, thats actually what I've been using... you may check their website to see if you can get an idea.
