I knew my Blue damsel was going to have eggs soon...and today she did...on the inside of a shell...but i have a few questions...the male isnt looking after them...does that mean that he didnt fertilize them? even if he did..whats the next step...this is their first batch...I have a small 5 gallon tank at the ready...please help...leave them in the tank? take them out? dont bother?

is there any thing in the tank that will eat the eggs? if not i would live them in there until the male tends to it. sometimes males wont tend to eggs because the eggs arent healthy or because he doesnt know what to do. i think this happens more often with the first batch. also maybe the eggs are hard to reach. i know clownfish are like damsels and they like to lay eggs on flatter surfaces so they can be tend to.
