Hello i have a big problem take care of a fish tank at a bkstore and added chemiclean a few days ago... well a local company came in and added some fish and took it upon themselves to add chemiclean as well... throwing the nitrate level sky hi.. i tried to look for ideas on the chemicleans website but they are under construction so i dont know what to do??? can anyone offer some advice... i was going to do a water change.. but other than that i dont know???

I would do daily water changes until the nitrate level comes down. It wouldn't hurt to run carbon.

What kind of fish and corals did the tank have? Are the fish breathing rapidly?

A "sky high" nitrate level can burn a fishes respiratory system, causing chronic issues if it survives the initial insult.
