Duncan coral!

I have just got a duncan coral from my lfs, it has 23 poyps on it and stands about 7 inches high. It looks amazing, favourite in my tank.

How much are Duncans going for in the UK? They're still very expensive here, but the prices are coming down due to it growing like a weed.

It cost me £130, so approx $195. It looks amazing, the polyps on it are a fantastic green. I will get a picture when i can. They are extremely rare here, my lfs has never seen one before.

What the crap is a duncan coral? A new fad?

Duncanopsammia axifugia. It's basically Tubastraea with zooxanthellae. Polyps are about half dollar size when fully expanded. Grows like gangbustas! This colony went from 11 to about 30 or so polyps in a year. I've given up trying to count them.
