Moved tank! - have a ?

Well, I moved my 46gal reeftank from my basement to my living room. Everything went well, took about 6 hrs due to my working alone (except the neighbors help carrying the tank and stand up the stairs.

Anyhow, all of my corraline algea died off; I though this might happen due to the air exposure - how long will it take to come back, I prefer the pink and purple colors over the now white that it turned

Tough to give a timeframe - several factors at play there - figure probably a month or two to get back where you were. Keep Ca/Mg/Alk levels where they should be, plenty of flow, clean water, good lighting, etc. and just be patient...
