why magnesium rises while all other parameters are perfect?
and how can we set down the normal value?
my mg rises 1600 today, water is cloudy and 3 acros are dead :(
i m going to change some water right now.

Hmm, what are the other levels? And what are the levels when you mix a new batch of salt water?

When magnesium is that high, you start to lose calcium. That might be why your acros are dying. You alkalinity could also be high.

i am careful about these.

alkalinity is 7 dkh.
ph 8.2
ca is 400..
every parameters are always stable. also mg; is 1300.
i only add salty water yesterday to get my salinity 1023 to 1024.

Are you dosing magnesium? Did you get your salinity up fast? That could have done it.

Measure what your newly mixed salt water is reading just to make sure. Bringing the calcium down is the only problem about the magnesium being that I knew of. It makes me think that something else is wrong.

Either way, a good sized water change (25-40%) should fix your magnesium problems as long as your salt mix is low in it.

was an ammonia bomb :(
killed 4 acros, 2 euphllias, 1 cleaner shrimp.

i added active carbon and ammonia remover. start giving oxygen..

but then i fluky explore that my temprature rises to 32 C. 8O
i got a chiller but temp. is not true! this causes this problem.
i must be silly..

What's magnesium?

Overtesting can be a downfall.

Had no luck with hammer corals' until I stopped moving it around and let nature take it's course.
