I have a small aquarium that I believe is about 2 gals.. I plan on using a mini compact flourescent for the light since I have found nothing else small enough.. I wanted to know if there are any corals that are slow growing and won't quickly outgrow this little aquarium.. Thanks..

Open brain corals grow fairly slowly. But what I would aim for is to get corals that are easily pruned/culled. Most soft corals qualify, and any branching LPS would do as well (although pruning these is more labor intensive).

Yeah, would like to pretty much labor free except for the water changes, etc.. It's for my husband's desk and one coral he really likes is a black sun coral.. Yes, I know, has to be fed regularly.. But I don't think he'll mind that labor.. I like the brain corals a lot too so that will definitely be going in there..
