Some one here wrote a while ago that their philosify of tank care was careful neglect. I should learn to stick with that. My tank is doing well so I decided to get a few more corals lately to fill in a few holes. The green slimer, rose mille, Oregon blue tort, etc. IN adding these corals I thought it was best to change the flow on a few loclines and switch the drum out on my oceans motions to get some more velocity out of some of the outlets to reach the hard to get places.

It completely stressed a few of my old faves that were really starting to take off.
When I came back from a four day trip they were PO'ed and had no polyp extension whatsoever. I couldnt save any of them.
The Ocean motions drum has been switched back to the original and the loclines are as before as well. All the rest of the corals are doing well.
Here are a couple pics of the dead.

Is the prop tank going to be tied in? And what size?

You gotta mess in there in order to fill up that frag tank! :P

Quite often I am making frags of a few key fast growers and would like to hang on to them rather than trade them for a small store credit.
I am going to turn 1/4 of my two car garage into a workout/ frag room. Garages, in most cases, are glorified storage rooms anyway. We dont park in ours. It will be 11'x10' and have two frag tanks on separate systems. One will be a 40 breeder SPS tank and the other will be some sort of softy tank. We dont like the 30 long so it may get incorporated into the softy system or just broke down.

I am gettin ready to order two Luminarc vented HQI 250s ( :D 14.5"x 14.5" :D ) which will go over the 120. I will then get one ice cap 250 ballast with a hamilton 14K, then use one of the left over PFOs from the 120 on the SPS prop tank, I will also buy one PFO 150w ballast with a 14k phoenix for the 150 PFO pendant that Ive had new in the box for a year. The 150w will be for the softies. I am going to try to take my time setting these systems up because I dont want extra equipment laying around or feeling like "I wish I had bought that instead" when these tanks are done.
If I had these tanks up and running right now I would have clones of the three corals that just died. Better luck (for me)next time.
