Got a skimmer problem. After cleaning out the collection cup for my Tunze 9010, instead of standing it up I layed it down on the counter on its side. You can guess what happened next. I watched it rool in slow motion off the counter only to shatter upon hitting the tile floor. I called Tunze I won't be able to get the collecton cup til next week. Does anyone happen to have a spare collection cup I can borrow or rent for the week? I really don't want to be without a skimmer for the week, and I don't have a backup skimmer.

incase you cant get the collection cup, i would start making fresh saltwater and do a water change mid week or 1 mid week and 1 at the end of the week (depending on how much you feed and your bioload) and then when you get your collection cup turn that skimmer back on...

Tried that. Too many lil pieces and the glue wouldn't seal all the holes up. I'm sick over this.:sad2:
