UPDATED pics of current setup

I haven't posted in a while with pics of my setup.. and i got bored.. sooooo...

Tank is 65g cube .

Lights: 400w HQI 14K Hamilton Reefstar Pendant + 150w of URI Super Actinic via a PFO ballast.

Skimmer: Octopus recirc 150 fed by a MJ900 from my sump.. I run it externally.

I also recently added a electric box on the outside of my sump. It takes up more floorspace.. but now there are no electrical outlets inside the sump area, which is a definite plus. In addition it helps my tank run cooler because the 2 balasts aren't in there to heat things up!

The hood on the top hans't been finished out yet, but you get the general idea.

Looks good. How are the corals that started bleaching a while back?

they are doing great. The problem was the temp that was elevated because my pendant was so low to the water surface.

Everything appears much happier and colorful at a lower temp.

I feel as though my harrassing comment to bleeding several months ago has ruined him. I'll say it then. Can we get some pics of those corals?


Very clean set up. Did you polish everthing befor the pics were taken. If not, you are a very tidy reefkeeper.
