:evil: sorry but this will probaly sound like a ranting lunitic so I appologize in advance. Now on to the story.
About six weeks ago I purchased a 3x250hqi hood on eBay. the seller had over 11000 positive feedback so I thought to myself that this should be a smooth transation. I kept that positive attitude for about 2 weeks. After the afore mentioned time I emailed the seller asking if the hood had been shipped, no reply. 5 days later I get an email saying "lights returned verify address" He included my address in the email and it was correct. so I verified and asked when I could expect the hood to be shipped, no reply. a couple of days after this I'm checking out myeBay and notice that the seller is "no longer a registered user". this really scared me! 8O So I send another email stating that I need a confirmed tracting number or ship date. No response!!! So on to filing a claim with eBay/Paypal. This actually gets me response
a tracking number!!! On the day of the delivery I rush home. there sitting in my driveway (thanks UPS) is a large package. With the help of my son we take it inside and open it up. I am very pleased, until..... 2 broken pc bulbs, pc bulbs are square pin fixture has straight, no uv shield, and the best of all no ballast to run the hqi. So back to paypal to vent my displeasure. Many appologies and 2 packages with tracking numbers on the way! At least the billling information was recieved. No packages were actually sent out for about a week. Last Fri I recieve 2 bulbs to replace the broken ones. OK I'm starting to have a little faith that all may turn out for the good. The ballast are scheduled to arrive on Tues May 29. this also is the day that my Paypal dispute ends unless I escalate it to a claim.
I get home yesterday and there is the package. I open it up and there are 2 ballast in the box, a double and a single. :lol: I'm so happy, but I don't have time to hook them up right away I have errends that have to get done. So about 7pm last night I hook up the ballast and bulbs. to keep from making a long story even longer the dual ballast doesn't work and my paypal dispute has expired. so I am still without a light for my 125 :x Thank you for listening to my ramblings and if you ever see aquariumlights selling anything on eBay STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
