I just moved from OH to southern NM and I am setting up a new 125 gallon tank to house live rock with fish only (the liverock and fish are being flown out to me once the tank is ready). Any suggestions on lighting? The tank came with a 72" light fixture containing 2, 36" daylight bulbs. Thanks!

you can put whatever you like on the tank. live rock doesn't need light, and neither do fish. the 2 daylight bulbs will work fine.

ya, nothing you have in there is very photosensitive. I think maybe one daylight and one actinic bulb would help the look of your tank. The blue color will give it a more "ocean like" appearence, and help your pretty fish to show up nice..

so, like X said.. the daylights would be adequate. IMO i would make one an actinic color for coloration of the fish.

Just my opinion
