I bought the Regal Angel I was planning on. He's not eating as much mysis or brine as he was eating in the store but he's still eating it nonetheless and nobody's picking on him. I'm sure he'll be back to his normal self shortly.
I've noticed that when my Regal is picking at the rocks, it never picks at the top part of the rocks, meaning the sides of the rocks that are full of coraline algae. Instead it goes for the underside of the rocks and goes nuts picking at whatever's there. My question now is obviously, what's there? Why does the angel prefer the underside of the rock and not the top half?

All the stuff they eat are in cryptic areas. So ya, sponges and tunicates. The top half is mostly algae and coralline, which they eat less of.

Good luck with him! Mine turned out to be a coral nipper :( So, he went bye-bye :P

Alright easy enough to understand. In any case, she seems more keen on eating the caulerpa in my tank now. I added it the same day I added her, just so that she has something to pick at in case she decided to be finicky with me. She's not eating mysis anymore but seems to really like the brine shrimp.
