i pump in a lot of co2 to keep my ca reactor ph below 7 and i drip a lot to keep ca and alk up. but it causes some algae blooms. do you think this is because i have too much co2 back into the tank? are there ways to reduce co2?

I believe another media chamber can help.

Try dripping you effluent near the skimmer input

You could also be pumping a lot of phosphates into your system via your calcium reactor as the media is often known for that (anything you use), having a phosphate removal method could be useful.

CO2 is never the cause of algae bloom. It is either other nutrient, such as phosphate, mentioned above, or some other issue.
