Hello,
I've had my 9010 DOC running 24/7 for approximately a week and a half now and it doesn't seem to want to skim. I have the skimmer running in the sump with the kit that includes the pvc outlet and inner molding for the intake. My sump water level is approximately 7 inches. I have the air screw opened 5 revolutions. Nothing seems to come in the neck or collection cup. There is a small pencil-sized hole in the back of the skimmer with a steady stream of water coming out of it and only a very small amount of water is actually coming out of the foam end of the pvc outlet. I'm assuming this must be a problem, since it doesn't really make sense that it would work that way. I've also double-checked the bottom plate with the suction cups to make sure it wasn't in backwards (thanks to a similar thread on this subject) What am I missing here?
Thanks in advance..
