The Kole tangs collected in the Indian Ocean bear spots while the Koles collected from the Pacific are striped. Both are the same species. :D

Quite possible. I'm no fish expert. The few places I have found the one with blue dots listed has it as a seperate species.

Thanks! Both fish are considered variations of Ctenochaetus strigosus.
