It's in the same family as a Kole, different marking tho. Instead of the stripes it has light blue pok-a-dots.

The Kole tangs collected in the Indian Ocean bear spots while the Koles collected from the Pacific are striped. Both are the same species.

Quite possible. I'm no fish expert. The few places I have found the one with blue dots listed has it as a seperate species.

Thanks! Both fish are considered variations of Ctenochaetus strigosus.
