Which Powerheads

I recently obtained an Ocean Pluse Duo wave controller. Can you good people make suggestion on which powerheads or pumps to purchase to put on this alternating timer. I have a 75 gallon thank that is mostly SPS.

hydor korila's 4 would be a good choice especially if your going to have alternate flow. i think dean said they were controllable.

Alot of people used to use maxijet 1200'a on wave controllers - I think they work ok, but over time beat the pump up because of constant on/off. Best to go with a pump or set of pumps designed to alternate.

As Dave said, Koralia are one, Tunze, Seio (with new controller) etc

I'd only recommend Koralias and Seios on a Seio controller, since it never shuts the pump off. It simply ramps down the power to the pump 50%. Neither powerhead works well when shut off constantly.

I do not believe that the Koralia is controllable. Am I mistaken? If it is not, will it be OK to turn the Koralia on/off constantly?
