what diseases is this on my royal grammy

Ok we talked to a number of LFS and we did a freshwater dip.. then we saw the full extent to our poor fishy.. as you will notice almost like little bubbles on him.. after about 2 min they started to come off (and then he started swiming around the bucket..before that he was like left to almost dead), we left him in there for about 6 min.. then put him back in his QT.. once back in there he started to swim around for a bit.. then headed back to his PVC pipe...

The little bubbles could've been isopods or flukes. Perhaps the fish died from the trauma of the parasites popping off after the dip. I very much doubt a secondary infection would've kicked in that quickly and killed the fish (although I don't know the time line of the photos).

Oh. It's laying on its side, so I thought it had died. Did the white bubbles fall off but develop again after the FW bath? There seems to be considerable external damage on the last few photos.

oh ya about 80% of them fell off..

ya he is on his side panting.. but if you touch him he will swim around.. or shine a light on him..

just gave him 1 FW bath today.. should i do another one tonight or tomorrow?

I'd wait until he recovers before doing another bath. Some gram negative antibiotics or copper (since it's QTed) might help to stave off any secondary bacterial infections that might occur.

Last i saw it was on the bottom still breathing, and now doing this twiching movement..
