My white star polyp which once was all over the tank is now dying. Going on for about a two months. All parameters are within norm ranges (except for nitrate which is spiking a little because of the dying polyp)
Strange thing is that everything else is thriving...xenia, mushroom, cabbage leather, toadstool!
I have had people tell me to add magnesium which I have never had to before since it is the salt mix, and the elements that I put in. Told that I should not have changed all of my bulbs on my light all at once that the corals are burned and to move it lower in tank but it is affecting polyps all over the tan. And I have checked my phospates.
Anybody have any ideas, I am getting desperate. I am afraid that other things are going to start dying.
thx,
Karen
I have a 75 DAS.
