gonna light a frag system... need some advice.

I am looking to buy a used light. I have been hunting on that other board and there is alot of stuff for sale. I am torn...

between

a 47" 2 175w SE with two 55w PC's

or

2 150w de current usa Pendants....

the frag system is a horse trough that is 42 x 27 x 15. I am gonna build an eggcrate shelf at about 9-12" mark. maybe even higher....

what do you think?

I voted for the 2 175's. You'll get a better spread and you can use those amazing Iwasaki 15k's

are there any pics posted with the 15ks in use.... i was thinking along the lines of a 14k... hmmmm. now you got me thinking!

I really wouldn't consider any other 175W bulb over the Iwasaki 15k. It outperforms even the 10K bulbs in its group, and compares to 250W bulbs.

Appearance-wise, it's slightly less blue than a Hamilton 14k.

ok I picked up the 175w fixture... it has 2 65 Pc's.... it is made by custom sea life and is wired real nice. all independant switches and cords. in a nice black unit simialr to my PFO and has nice hooks to hang the unit from. i am gonna post my build thread later.....
