I know those are commonly called rock anemones, but does anyone know the species? They are not photosythetic, correct? I collected one similar to that in Florida a few months ago and I have even found them on jetties up here in NC. They are kind of cool, but tend to be a little reclusive. Mine always moved behind a rock or somewhere where you couldn't even see it.

Gotta love eBay... for all it's talk of cracking down on fraudulent auctions and the like, they still allow extremely deceptive (read: fraudulent) auctions to continue. Ebay should simply filter the word rare, L@@K and all those other lame attempts to make something look better than it is.

Must be a real pita to have to try and net a fish out of that tank when they sell it! And only the rock on the top shelf gets any light? No wonder it looks like rock from my garden.
