I've got a very large calcium reactor I've had set up for an extended period (1+yrs?) of time on my tank without having the media drop significantly. I've tested the pH of the water (6.2), which I think is about right. System is a 37 gallon with about 30 gallons in the sump. Reactor is a 6" diameter 24" high (I know, way bigger than I need, don't ask). Reactor is driven by a Litermeter 3, so I can dial in pretty much whatever water flow I want. Any suggestions on how much water I should be running through the reactor, and how bubbles per minute would be a good starting point?

Thanks!

your effluent sounds right.

Are running water through the reactor constantly or every so often with the litremeter?
