This came in on a live rock. It grows slowly. Should I get rid of it. It clings to rock like ivy clings to brick. What kind of calerpa is it?

I would get rid of it right away. It looks invasive, and once it gets a foothold, it will be hard to get rid of.

I took the affected rock out and put them into my quantine tank. I covered the quarantine tank with a blanket to block out all light. I think that should do it. What do you think?

it is bryposis, remove it for sure. the cooking treatment you are doing should work if you keep it in there for over a month.

It become difficult to remove once it start spreading. Hard to get rid of i tried hyper magnesium treatment ; it kills it. Like to find a fish that likes to eat it.
