ok... I was given a favia which had a very bad case of brown jelly disease... well.. after the poor thing lost over half of itself; it managed to beat the brown jelly.. or so I hope. The tank I have it in has pretty poor lighting.. so the other day i moved it closer to the light. This morning it has dark brown/black strands coming from it's mouths. Any ideas?.. Has it decided to go on to the great coral reef in the sky?
I have been feeding the tank adult brine shrimp and phyto ; but I have never witnessed the favia feeding or even trying to...
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks
