I made this site for family to keep track of what I'm doing. I'm setting up a 75 gallon aquarium. I'm very excited. I have lots of picks of the progress so far:

On a side note, some of you may have read my desperate posts about rampant red algea. I think I found my problem. I only have a few fish now in a small aquarium. As I fed my fish frozen food, I would feed a little at a time and stick the rest of the cube in the fridge...for 3-4 days. Needless to say, I'm pretty sure I was feeding the tank a healthy concentrate on phosphate by day 4. As humiliating as it is to acknowlege that I did that for so long, I figured I should post this to conclude my previous posts, and hopefully, to stop anyone else that might be thinking that's a convenient thing to do.

One question, when I get live rock, I'd like to try (we'll see what kind of rock I get and how well this works) sticking them together and get something more than the pile of stone I have now. Any advice on how best/easiest to do that (not particularly a handyman)?

Building a tank is huge fun. What type setup are you looking to do?

Drill the rock and use acrylic rods to join them together. See the long tank build thread for a better description.

Yes, I was thinking of something like that, but I'm not sure I'm skilled enough to pull that off. I guess it kinda depends on what my live rock looks like. My LFS has been known to have some nice big peices that tower without much help. We'll see.
