Hi

I would like to build a tank without any pink algae growing on the back wall, without having to scrape it everyday. I read elsewhere that covering the INSIDE with silicone paint is harmless to creatures and avoids any pink coralline algae in its surface. Does anyone has experiences on that?

I just feel my tank loses all depth with its back fully covered with coralline... No offense...

Thanks

:welcome:

Coraline grows on silicone also. I would not paint the inside on my tank. I think you are just going to have to scrape it.
