where is my harlequin?

I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this happen...

I had/have a harlequin shrimp. I haven't seen it for a month. The last time I saw it is when I fed it a small piece of a chocolate chip starfish. Has anyone had one of these cool shrimps vanish on them?

I have a pair of clowns, a bengai, and 2 firefish gobies for other fish inhabitants. Can harlequin burrow under rocks and not come out for months?

I've never had a hareluin, but my blood shrimp was missing for many months. I assumed he was dead. Then one day I spotted him at feeding time. He has made a home on the back side of my rock work. I would never have found him if my tank weren't viewable from both side. He never ventures more than a few inches from his home.

Hopefully your harlequin is in there somewhere.
