I posted this in the UK counterpart website but thought i might be able to catch some londonites here as well.

I got some liverock yesterday. and to my surprise, I found a wrasse in my tank this morning! talk about a hitch-hiker!

It managed to survive about 45 minutes out of the water (including a 30min trip on my scooter)

Its a new tank, Its my 1st live rock. I doubt the fish will survive the cycling of the tank. Does anybody want this fish?

I live in SW london UK, Collection only.

I know of one Londonite on this board, and he is currently with out a tank.

Keep the fish! If he made it this far, tank cycling will be a walk in the park for him. Can you get a photo?

Someone here will identify it!

I think it's a moon wrasse,

blue green with orange stripes on his face, and a black spot on his tail, its about 3inches long

Don't make the poor thing suffer anymore - bag him up and take him back to the store. If you like the fish you can maybe pay for it and ask the store to hold it until your cycle is complete.

I would ask the pet store to keep it for you for a few days when you get your tank ready. I often bring thing home unprepared, and the livestocks suffered needlessly.
