I live around Cleveland Ohio and there are not any good aquarium places around here. Does anybody know of any good saltwater/reef aquarium store within a few(1-3) hours drive of Cleveland?? Anywhere in Ohio or PA??

Thanks, hope this question goes here...

The one in Columbus is very nice. I live in Mansfield and the nicest saltwater shop in my town has two 75g tanks set up. So you can see why I drive south to get my stuff.
I was browsing online this morning and found this one in Columbus.

http://www.reefsystems.com/index.php

They are only open on the weekends, but I am going to drive down there this weekend and check it out. It looks very nice.

Wow that store does look pretty good. And yea closest place to me is Aquarium Adventure in Parma which is about 40 minute drive and I think they dont even carry much coral. The ones they do carry are all 60$ usually and really small. Well thanks again and I will probably be checking those places out within the next month or so.

Ill post back and tell you what i thought...thanks

Lokking for a good place to buy corals? Check out a place called Tropicorium, Its located 10 miles south of Detroit off 75. It is the by far the best place to by corals. They have thousands! Check them out online by doing a search on tropicorium.

Aquarium Adventure is great. I was in town for a hockey tournament and just happened apon the store. Fantastic selection of just about everything. Some really nice tanks. I am about 2 hours away from there but if I go to set up a new tank I will go there to purchase it.

Wow... I'm shocked salty critter wasn't mentioned first. Is an awesome reef shop, a sponsor here on RDO, and supports the Cleveland saltwater club.

Only other shop even worth considering driving for in Ohio is phishy business...IMO. Reef systems is also pretty nice, but still pretty new.

Seeing aquarium adventure get reviews like that is a little rare.

Yeah i almost went to salty critter this weekend but could not. And jdunphy are you talking about the aquarium adventure on ridge road by parma? because I have a little different opinion about them... The one I go to has practically no corals and are way overpriced IMO.

Seems like tropicorium and saltycritter are the two I need to check out soon.

thanks for all the replies I didnt really notice how many good looking places there were within a few hour drive.

Yes that is the one. But I was more impressed with the different tanks for sale. Not so much of the fish, coral or inverts..etc.

Yea I guess you are right they do have a pretty big selection of tanks. But yea they could have a little more variety with fish, and definately can use lots of work on their coral section
