Sticky Algae

Lately in my FOWLR I have been getting this green algae with a brown tinge on the walls of the tank. the weird thing is it is really stuck to the walls & doesn't wipe off real easy I have to scrape it off with a plastic scraper (acrylic tank) I have never run into algae that has been so tough to clean, any ideas?

It could be any number of types of algae, your best bet is to try to figure out why it's accumulating. How old are the lights on your tank, and what kind of setup do you have?
