Hey guys my calcium levels are low, but my PH test says PH is 8.4 which I thought was pretty high. My Alk is "Normal" These tests are according to "Marine Aquariums Test Lab" Kit. My calcium is under 200
Have you been adding a buffer of some sort, but not a calcium additive? If not, you may want to carry a sample to your LFS to have them verify your test results. How old are your reagents in your test kits? If they are correct, you can bring your calcium up using calciude chloride? If you have not read all of Randy Holmes-Farley's articles on Calcium, Alkalinity, and other water chemistry, now would be a great time to do that as well.
