my sail fin tang has some discoloration on him a small area under its dorsal fin and some spots on its dorsal as well. he still has a good appitite. none of my other fish seem to be affectd by anything.

i tested my parameters they are good, 0 amm, nitrate, nitrite.
8.4 ph 0.1245 salinity, sometimes i think it fluxuates due to my skimmer working and not working sometimes and the top off device has some issues as well.

any idea what this could be on my tang , ive seen the marks on it before and
they went away ,now they are back

thx

Tangs have amazing chromatophores that can change colors depending on mood or health. Hopefully, this is what you are seeing. Is the discolored areas damaged in any other way (bumpy, gashed, etc.)?
