JBJ wave controller....Anybody use it with Maxijet mods?

Does this controller turn the PH on and off or does it ramp the speed up and down?

Its all or nothing with that unit. I dont have any MJ mods so couldnt tell you if it works with them.

the jbj is on and off only. the dials look like they can ramp speed but it is only to set the frequency of on and off time. they work with any pump but only on and off, no ramping.

i dont think the maxijet can ramp because of the motor design.

I have (had) the JBJ Duo pushing maxijets with the Algae-Free Maxi-Jet Upgrade kit mounted on the Algae-Free magnetic powerhead holder. I ran the first set for two weeks, and the two mounts snapped within 24 hours. Got replacements from Mark at Algae Free, and they both snapped within two weeks. I went back to just the magnetic mounts. The JBJ does not ramp up power to the pumps - it is all or nothing.
