So I am contemplating a Biocube or a Aqua pod. Are they really good? What do you need to get them to really work for a reef? The Biocube sells a SKimmer for it (worth it at all being a air skimmer)?

The Aquapod offers one with an HQI light and built in skimmer? Are these tanks any good? Will the 150W HQI boil the tank?

For livestock I would plan on 2 clowns and maybe one other small fish like a blenny. Corals depending on the lighting would be SPS or LPS or combo and maybe a clam.

Thoughts?

i have a 24 gallon jbj nano cube and i like it. i upgraded the light to a 150 watt sunpod. the temp stays around 80 - 81 or so. imo, most of the nano tanks are pretty much all the same.

I was about 85% sold, and then when the new deal with the free stand and shipping came up I had to grab it asap. :D

You have been out of the hobby for a while also, right? It's been a year for me, and I've sure missed it.

Peace,

Chip
