What will eat string algae and is reef safe, Or what is the best way to get rid of it I have it in a spot in back of my tank And I have been pulling it out and its back in a week!

proper term is hair algea.
determine the cause n eliminate the source or its a never ending battle.


some possible problems:
high nitrates
high po4
hi silicate
feeding too much
high bio load
infrequent water change
using tap water
ro/di filters need changing
low flow
something went bad

1 sure way of getting rid of it is manually remove it then completely eliminate light from hitting it.
