No tats yet. What could a sub sea construction engineer get that would be cool.

1st thing that came to my mind was the Nautilus submarine. :P

I know Rich has a pretty cool tat of some sort of cephalopod.

I want to get the curved sector flight tube and source of a thermo stable isotope mass spec along my elbow, with mass 44, 45 and 46 ion beams going through the flight tube.

I have a koi fish along with a japanese background on my left arm and shoulder...but it represents my family (dad runs a japanese koi shop and got me and my siblings through school)... On my right arm, chest, and shoulder i have Filipino tribal designs that incorporate a line of stick figure fish...it represents a fruitful catch, or in otherwords, being able to provide for my family and put food on the table...

Ive seen many other tribal designs with octoput tenticles representing acquired skills; Clam shells representing protection; sea tortises wich represent alot (varies upon orgin) tidal waves that represent struggle, etc

You can check some out here: http://hbtat2.com/orly/

Phaze, I would be very interested in the koi shop, if your pops still runs it.

I've been wanting for years to get a tat of the species of rattler I was bitten by. After seeing all these other tats, though... MAN, the ideas! It would go with a burgeoning "biker chick" persona, too, wouldn't it?

LOL.. That wunderpus tattoo is a new one. You've all seen my fish tat time and time again but I would hardly call it scientific.

i have a similar one except the koi is swimming over my shoulder with two smaller ones following it. on my back (left shoulder blade) is a copy of a hokusai wave from one his mt fuji wood blocks. the koi are leaping out of the wave. hopefully i'll be starting on a half sleeve on my right arm fairly soon.
