Surf this site, lots of good deals. These pumps are not variable output but it would be easy enough to set them on a timer.

The speed of the motor is fixed, but the flow rate can be variable with different tubing, etc.

But at $72 a pop, it is still not very cheap in *my* standard... :lol:

Matt they aren't bad at all. Check the BAR RC forum, as well as the BAR own forum. We've discussed them there. The tubing supplied isn't that great, but the shouldn't stop anyone from buying them

That's where I saw them.

When you say the tubing you do mean the portion that contacts the rollers, yeah? I found it interesting that you said you replace them so often. I've had my LiterMeter3 for at least 5 years now and never had to replace the tubing, ever. Since we'll be using them in different applications/loads, how do we know when they are ready for a swap out?

Easy, they fail (no fluid passes out the other end, or less comes out). Paristaltic tubing comes in many flavors. Some last WAY longer then others, but require more energy to push the rollers over it. RPM, duration, thickness and material all detremine how long the tubing lasts.
