As your tank grows and matures, you will battle algae in one form or another.

You only have two choices - manually clean it by wiping it off or get a cleaning crew.

I clean the walls of my display every other day by hand and have some snails in my sump to clean the baffle walls.

How does your display look? Any specs on your setup or more photos?

Don't worry. If you have water and you have light, you'll have algae. It's just how tanks are.

Actually, I would worry if you weren't getting any algae at all. You've got a nice light coating. It's a good thing that way.

Out of curiosity, what were the other answers you were getting?

Did anyone suggest you pour half a gallon of bleach into your tank to get rid of these dangerous organisms?
