My mandarin has been in my tank for quite a while now and is doing very well just by picking at the rocks. Two months ago I added a beautiful Blue Sided Fairy Wrasse (C. Cyanopleura). The wrasse eats everything from prepared foods to pods in the live rock. Lately I've noticed that he has been following my mandarin around all over the place. He usually picks at the rocks along side the mandarin. This isn't a problem but I find it interesting. It's as if the wrasse knows that the mandarin knows where all the hot spots are in the tank, like the mandarin knows where all the pods are and so the wrasse follows mandarin to get some food. Has anybody else seen this?
