Im fixing to order a ro/di unit. tired of driving an hour and a half to lfs to buy water.
I am looking at a aquamaxx ro/di deluxe 4 50 gpd, and one of the 100 gpd six stage ones on ebay. Is there a difference in the quailty of the two units??
Please help

I've used the ebay ones for a couple of years and they work great. Most all RO units have the same mebrane anyway. One thing I don't like about the ebay ones is the cheapo DI add-ons. They work, but when they exhaust, I'd recommend replacing them with a seperate full size DI canister or 2. They are pretty cheap. I also think buying the additional pressure gauge and inline TDS meter would be a wise investment.

I will let you know how it works but it seemed to be the most reasonably priced place around. My water here in TX really sucks so i wanted something that not only softens the water but also removes all of the chloramine they put in and chlorine. Will let you know how it works. I plan on plumbing it in in my laundry room.

They are a lot cheaper than that on Ebay. The ones on Ebay don't come standard with the pressure gauge and TDS meter, but even buying them seperately is a lot cheaper.
