refugium chaeto

I have a 20 gallon tank with a 2.5 gallon refugium on the back with live rock, sand substrate, and chaeto in it. How much chaeto is too much chaeto? This stuff grows pretty quickly.

as long as water can freely flow through it, it should be ok.

Thanks for the response. I bought some copepods and amphipods and seem to have some one or two little critters running around but no small shrimp. Do you know how do I go about getting them?

they will come on their own. just wait. they will breed. you could always get some macros from other people's established 'fuges.
