What is the best way to remove a BTA from a rock? I have some (ha ha) hair algae on a rock that I would like to isolate in a dark chamber for a week or more but it has this nice BT on it. Conversely, how long can a BTA go without light? Thanks.
You can aim a power head at it until it is "annoyed" off the rock or you could use some ice cubes in a plastic bag and rub it on the foot until it lets go.
I wouldn't go more than two days without light on a BTA.
