Seriously, best is to get an used one, maybe able to say 20-40% depends on condition, age, etc. But you pay for the hidden cost of older parts, and maybe sooner repair, etc.
I really don't understand why it's running so hot to begin with. It was 85 degrees, so I said "Okay, let's prop up the hood for more ventilation & so the halide is now 8" above the water AND turn off the heater."
Well, guess what? It's now running at 83 degrees. I don't get it.
OR....... You could always just move to Seattle for a long term fix. Its supposed to snow again tonight. We may only get one month of summer at this rate
