Amount of macro algae for refugium

So is there a rule of thumb as to how much macro algae to have for a tank.

Say I have a 210 with aprox 4 square feet of macro in a 75 gallon fuge. Should I fill the sucker up?

My ph stays at 7.9 to 8.1 max. I have a tight house.

i wouldn't overdo it at first. just put a handful in and let it grow to your system.

what kind of macros are you talking about?
if it's chaeto, you can add as much as you want. it can only help.
