Looking to supplement my 75 gallon reef aquarium with some new live rock. I have ordered from Gulf Aquatics and Premium Aquatics in the past and was pleased with the colors and life attached.

Where have you ordered from recently? how was the quality? hitchiker level (good and bad hikers!)?

Im looking to hopefully get some new pods and life etc with the rock, along with some nice coralline color.

PS: I'm also planning a supplemental order from IPSF or Inland Aquatics for my live sand bed (6") but love to see what comes out of the rock too!

THanks in advance for the opinions!

I got a box from Marine Depot a couple months ago to replace some I discarded. It was a transshipped box. No problems with it. Originally, the coralline colors weren't there, but they are coming back now. I haven't noticed any hitchhikers yet, but it's a rather large and established tank and is too soon to tell.

I just bought some from a guy on ebay out of orland fl. Mrmarine I think. It claimed to be walt smith cured premium fiji. It is descent rock. I only have had it since wednesday. It has fair amount of coraline algae and several peices have some macro algaes on them, I have not seen any hitch hikers yet. The reason I bought this was the price 2.12 a pound compared to 7 at lfs. I would buy from him again.

Past good (and bad) experiences with live rock online sellers would be appreciated even if they are not recent....
