I have 2 Percula Clowns about 2 yrs old or so that I received from another reefer. I bought a BTA 3 days ago and they havent even sniffed it. I know there is no complete answer but I was wondering from others experience how long before they will cozy up to it?

Thanks

It took less than three hours - My tip: I positionned the BTA at the spot where they usually sleep (the BTA then moved, and the clowns with it)

That is a good thought. I may try that. I am also wondering if it has to do with the BTA being verticle not flat. Would that make a difference with the clowns?

My clown did not even bother w/ my BTA for approx 3 months. Then one day the BTA attached itself to the glass and the clown moved in. Oddly enough the BTA moved around the tank for 3 months. As soon as the clown moved in, it has stayed put.
