I just bought 4 different zoo's from a place on the internet.

The seller shipped them in a styrofoam lined box, with a 30 hour heat pack. They were sent yesterday afternoon and were supposed to arrive this morning.

The shipment was delayed by FedEx until tomorrow morning!

Does anyone have experience with a live shipment being delayed 24 hours? What were the results?

Any input will help!

They will probably be alright they are one of the hardier corals, depends on how well they were when they were shipped and if they get to cold.

Zoas are hardy for sure and people ship them USPS priority all the time usually taking several days, just not when its so cold. Being your in NY they will probably arrive very frosty, I would drip acclimate them slowly.

you'd be surprised what kind of conditions coral like zoas can survive. i've seen them dry shipped before and come out great, but it took a few days for them to recover.

They arrived this morning... Looked in pretty good shape, but the water was chilly. Acclemating them as I type...

Stay tuned

I got home this after noon to see the new inhabitants absolutely thriving! I just replaced my regular fluorescent fixture with a compact fluorescent and the coral I already had in there are doing great as well!

It looks gorgeous to only be a month old!

I'll get you all a picture to see what you think...
