HELP MH NOT FIRING!

Yesterday I received 2 new South Pacific Sunlight MH 250 double ended bulbs.

I installed them and they fired right up. Today I come home from work and neither one of them is on????

I'm powering them (or attempting to...) with a Sunlight Supply Blue Wave 7 250W HQI Dual Metal Halide Ballast.

Bad bulbs? Ballast gone out? Not compatible? Any ideas?

Ballast making any noise at all?

My startup just went bad on my ballast. Came home, no light on but the ballast was hot and no sound from it.

the ballast is not making any noise, the switch lights are on and it is warm but no noise.

Have you tried putting the old bulbs back in?

old bulbs work fine... got a new set of bulbs today, they fired right up... I think I got some bogus bulbs...
